DAY337 [渡英312日] 2021年3月3日（水）：英文残高証明書，戸籍謄本取り寄せ

　5:00に起床。院生の論文にコメントして午前中は終了。

　午前中に妻が息子の小学校からメールを受け取り，息子のビザ更新に伴う休みは了承するものの，学校が認めた期限を超えると除籍になるという。自主隔離やPCR検査の結果次第でずれ込む可能性があり，不確定要素が高すぎるので，もう少しバッファを取ってくれるようにお願いする。少し日本でのんびりしようと思ったが，息子の小学校の【除籍】というデッドラインが設けられたことでにわかに忙しくなる。

　最大のネックは，英文の残高証明と戸籍謄本の手配。共に代理人が申請をしないといけないが，海外から英文残高証明を申請するプロセスが恐ろしく煩雑。紙媒体での申し込みしかできず，しかもその紙が国内の銀行の窓口にしかないうえ，ビザ申請に必要な有効期限が直近1か月前ということなので，前もって申請もできない。このご時世で紙文化は本当に辞めて欲しい。

　英文残高証明・戸籍謄本については父親がスキャンできればよいのだが，残念ながら難しい。このタイムロスをどうにかしないと。

　本籍のある区役所に電話で問い合わせ。戸籍謄本は，直系の家族（自分の父親とか母親とか）であれば，その血縁関係が証明できるもの（古くてもよいので戸籍謄本など）を持参すれば，発行できるとのこと。

　もし同じ本籍であれば，最初に自分の戸籍謄本を出して，その後依頼されている戸籍謄本を出せばよい（＝委任状不要）。

　ただし，自分の家族に

・自分が出力して欲しい本籍地の住所

・自分の生年月日

・戸籍謄本の用途・提出先

・欲しい部数

は伝えておいた方がやり取りがスムーズ
