DAY352 [渡英326日] 2021年3月18日（木）：銀行の取引明細書をめぐる戦い，英会話２回目

　昨日ようやく提出したビザ申請書類について業者から可能であれば，取引明細書に銀行の公印や銀行が発行したことが分かるものはないかと言われる。というわけで銀行に問い合わせるべく，まずはネットバンキングの窓口に電話。前回もそうだったが，結局支店にかけろという。裁量があるのか分からないが，書類発行のやり方が支店で異なるというのはいかがなものか。日本時間17:00に電話の窓口が閉まってしまうので朝の7時台に急いで電話をする。そこから格闘。
　まず，私の口座のある支店ではたとえ委任状があっても第三者に情報を開示できないという。これは以前参考にしたサイトとは異なる対応。そのため英文の銀行残高証明についても問題が発生。

　問題を整理すると，以下２つ。
　１）取引明細書について，ネット通帳で出力したものに公印をもらうことは可能か
　２）英文の銀行残高証明についてどのようにすればよいか

　結局，
　１）ネットでは不可なので，預金取引推移表発行依頼書兼口座振替依頼書（漢字が続く名称だ…）を送付して対応する

　２）こちらも郵送対応。ただし，下段左側に手数料引き落とし口座情報を入力しないとダメ

　最初は支店に来ないとダメと言う話だったが，結局，用紙を送付して直筆のものを紙媒体で送付すれば対応するとのこと。ここまでの対応を引き出すのに２時間ほどかかった。夕方，地元の郵便局に出力した書類を郵送しに行くが，この郵便局がポンコツすぎる。前回は£52で最速のものがあると言っていたのに，普通のメールで5営業日で届くという。しかも宛先について日本語だけの記載で前回問題なかったのに，今回は英語でも書けという訳の分からないことをいう。以前，妻が出した郵便が50ペンス足りずに戻ってきたこともあり，かなり不安な郵便局。

　英会話の２回目。どの英語学校でも習う時制の話だが，結構知識が曖昧だったことを痛感。

　Concerning the visa application documents that I finally submitted yesterday, the contractor asked me if it would be possible to have a bank statement that shows the bank's official seal and that the bank issued it. So, I called the bank, first of all, to inquire about it. As I did last time, I was told to call a branch. The call centre closes at 17:00 Japan time, so I hurriedly made a call at 7:00 in the morning. I struggled from there.
　First of all, my account's branch says that they cannot disclose the information to a third party even if I have power of attorney. So here is also a problem with the bank balance certificate in English.

　There are two problems.
　(1) Is it possible to get an official seal on a bank statement printed out from an online bankbook?
　(2) How can I get an English bank balance certificate?

　After all
　1) As it is not possible to use the internet, we will send a request form for issuing a statement of deposit transactions and a request form for account transfer.
　2) You can also send this by post. However, you need to enter the account information from which the fee will be deducted on the left side of the bottom row.

　At first, I was told that I had to come to the branch, but in the end, I was told that if I sent in the form and sent it in our own handwriting in paper form, they would deal with it. It took about two hours to get this kind of support. In the evening, I went to the local post office to mail the printed documents, but this post office was too clumsy. They said it would be delivered in 5 working days by ordinary mail for £15. At the previous time, they said they had the fastest one for £52. Besides, they wanted me to write the address in English too when I had written it in Japanese, and there was no problem last time. My wife's mail came back 50 pence short, so I was apprehensive.

　This is the second time for English conversation. I realized that my knowledge of tenses was quite vague, although I had learned it in every English school.
