DAY181 [渡英159日] 2020年9月28日（月）論文執筆，真司ラーメン
午前中の勉強が終わり，近くの日本「風」のラーメンに食べに行く。真司ラーメンというお店だが，誰かが評していたように日本のインターチェンジのラーメン。前の時もそうだが，具材が冷たいのか，スープがぬるいのか，熱くない。おすすめのラーメン（メニューの筆頭にある）が豚骨ラーメンだが，豚骨もどこか化学調味料的な味がする（もしかして隣の中華食材から購入している？）。

帰宅後すぐに妻と車の運転。この間の公園まで走ってパーキングに置く。ルート検索によっては楽なルートが出てくる。あとパーキングが小銭オンリーというのは厳しい。（コロナも踏まえて）カード社会のこのご時世にお札もNGでコインだけ使用可能なパーキングとは…。小銭をつくる手間が必要で面倒。
After finishing studying in the morning, I went to SHINJI ramen. As someone commented, the taste is similar to the one at the interchange in Japan. As I experienced before, I don't know ingredients are cold, or the soup is lukewarm, anyway, it's not hot for me. The recommendation in this restaurant, at the top of the menu, is Tonkotsu ramen, but I feel Tonkotsu taste is like chemical additives.
After going home, we immediately practised driving with my wife to the park. The easy course came out depended on the route search. Also, it is out of date for parking to request us coin-only. It is troublesome because it requires time and effort to make the change.
DAY180 [渡英158日] 2020年9月27日（日）論文執筆，Jericho Grillのsunday roast
午前3時過ぎに起床し，論文執筆。共分散構造分析をしているのだが，CFIが1.0でもよいのか迷う。指標的には0-1の間で0.9，もしくは0.95以上というのは知っているが，1.0になった場合はよいのだろうか。他の人の論文をみてもCFI＝1.0という論文を2本見つけたので問題ないだろう。来月上旬が〆切なので急がないと。
あと経営情報学会の論文を読む。職場の同僚の先生でかつ隣の研究室の高橋勅徳先生の論文がメチャクチャ面白い。「増大するあなたの価値，無力化される私 婚活パーティーにおけるフィールドワークを通じて」(webからダウンロードできます）という論文で，自分が婚活パーティーに（潜入？）調査した自己エスノグラフィー。婚活をある意味，男女のマッチングの市場と捉え，公務員や外資系，年収●●万円以上などのクラス分けは，結局のところ同じレベルの人たちが集まり同質化されるために，それ以外の要素（年齢，容姿など）に焦点が移るというもの。他方で，世間的な年収や地位という有意性を活かすのであれば，趣味などでカテゴライズされたパーティーに出ることは望ましいが，それとて今度は同じカテゴリの中でも細分化されたマイクロな差異に注目するがあまりにマッチングが難しいという。
待望のJericho GrillにSunday roastを食べに行く。このお店はDeliverooでも宅配をせず，飲食店の解禁日でもすぐに営業を再開しなかったので，行くことができなかったお店。夜の食事の評価が高いが，息子を連れて行くのは難しいので昼に訪問。Oxfordの地場のビール Shotover Aleと英国のビールEmpress Aleを堪能。料理・ドリンク共に美味しいが日本人には量が多い。
BRANCAで軽食を購入して帰宅後，庭の後ろのIVYを剪定。結局ほとんどIVYはなくなった…いいのだろうか？一抹の不安が残る。庭の剪定をして落ち着いていたところにお向かいの子供が遊びに来て自宅前の駐車場でかけっこをする。しかし，全部で数えると9人なんですけど，良いの？？？しかし近所付き合いは本当に難しい。
For lunch, we went to the Jericho Grill, which we long-awaited for. Though this restaurant didn't deliver on Deliveroo during the lockdown and didn't reopen immediately, there had a good reputation, especially at dinner. I enjoyed Empress Ale made in England and Oxford local beer Shotover Ale. It was delicious, but for Japanese people, it's a lot.
After purchasing a light meal at BRANCA and returning home, pruning the IVY behind the garden. After all, IVY is almost gone ... is it okay? A child on the other side of the house came to play and played in the parking lot in front of our house. However, when we count them in total, there are nine people, is that okay? Anyway, getting along with the neighborhood is difficult.
DAY179 [渡英157日] 2020年9月26日（土）車の運転，芝刈り
週末で疲れたので，いつもより遅く4:30に起床。院生のリバイス原稿に返信し，5時半に車の練習がてらドライブ。GEEに行ってそれから昨日妻が運転した公園の駐車場まで運転。早朝ということも人通りも少なく運転しやすいものの，やはりroundaboutに一抹の不安あり。カーナビがアプリと連動してハンズフリーになったりするモードがあるのだが，日本の携帯でsimを入れ替えているだけなので，アプリが対応していないとのこと。
午前中は息子が日本人のお友達とport meadowで会うということで，妻が出かける。その間に家の修理や庭の外壁の写真を撮影したり，その写真を整理したりで午前の時間が終了。午後は庭の芝刈りと手入れを行う。夕方になるとお向かいの子供と散歩に行くことになったが，これまたport medowに行くことに。近所への散歩だと思い，妻が行ってくれたが，結局途方もない距離になり恐らく3キロ以上歩いているのではないか…。妻は午前も午後もかなり歩いたためバテバテ，息子も度重なる運動でクタクタ…。
Because I got tired on the weekend, I woke up 4:30 am. I returned the email to the graduate school student to return the manuscript and went to drive to practice at 5:30. After going to the GEE, I went to the park where my wife drove yesterday. Though it was easy to operate with little traffic, there was still some anxiety about the roundabout. Although there is a mode in which the car navigation system becomes hands-free in conjunction with the app, my iPhone couldn't do that because I only replaced a sim to my iPhone.
In the morning, my wife went to the Portmeadow to meet my son's friends. During my wife's absence, I repaired the house, took photos of the fence, and sorted it out. In the afternoon, we will mow and clean the garden. In the evening, we decided to go for a walk with the child on the neighbor. In the end, it was a tremendous distance for my wife, and I think she was walking more than 3 kilometers. My wife walked a lot during the day and seemed to be so tired.
DAY178 [渡英156日] 2020年9月25日（金）farewall party
今日は，フランスの友人が帰国するというので簡単なお別れ会。アラブ系（イスラムは金曜日が安息日）の人がいないので人数的には小規模だったが楽しかった。6人ルールは大丈夫？？
帰宅後，妻が運転する車に搭乗と同時にカーナビの動作確認。すべてがヤード換算なので面倒だが，一応機能する。しかし車を練習する時間がない。やはりroundaboutが難しい。もう少し慣れないと…。あとカーナビは盗難の恐れがあり，いちいち取り外して自宅にもっていかないといけないので手間。
夕方，近所の子供たちと息子が遊ぶが，２つの家からアイスホッケーのスティックが出てくることに驚き。1件のお家はカナダ出身で，旦那さんもホッケーのキーパーをしていたそうだから，家から子供のホッケースティックが出てくるのは理解できるが，もう1軒は，イタリアとイギリスなので驚き。アイスホッケーってそんなにメジャーなのか…。
Since my french friend will go back home, we had a small farewell party at lunch. Because of Friday, which is the sabbath in Islam, there was a small number of people, but it was fun. But now the UK regulates the number of people gathering at a meeting, I wonder it violates 6 people rule.
After coming back, my wife tried to drive by using car navigation. Though it was inconvenient that car navigation was calculated by yards about everything, it worked out well. It was still challenging to be used to driving roundabout. I have to get used to it a little more. Also, I could have the car navigation system stolen, so I have to remove it and take it home every time.
In the evening, my son played dating with neighbor's kids. But I was surprised to see neighbors having ice-hockey sticks.
One family is from Canada, and their husband was also a hockey keeper, so I understand that they had children's hockey sticks, but the other is Italy and England. Is ice hockey so major?
DAY177 [渡英155日] 2020年9月24日（木）Green marketでブリト―購入，不審な荷物from china Rayban
午前中の勉強を終え，Green marketで昨日並んで買えなかったギリシャのブリトーを購入。愛想のよいご婦人が2名で行っている屋台でチキンと豚を購入。サワーソースで美味しい。
帰宅後，中国から不審な荷物が届く。どうもRaybanのサングラスで，送り付け商法の詐欺のようだ。しかも悪質なのは返品先の企業の文字が切れていて住所が読めないという点。色々ウェブサイトを見ると本当は開封せずにそのまま受け取り拒否した方がよいということらしいが箱を空けてしまったので再び閉めて郵便局へ。
郵便局に行くと，愛想のないインド人が住所が分からないのなら返送できない，「ただならもらっておけばよいじゃないか」という言う。これは詐欺だからと言っても聞く耳を持たない。
仕方がないのでいったん家に帰り，ウェブで同様の案件が起きていないかを電話番号をもとに検索。そうすると出てくる，出てくる同様の被害。住所が特定できたところで住所を書き直して再び郵便局へ。英国の郵便局は雑貨店が営んでいる場合があり，くだんの郵便局もインド人家族が経営している。今度は息子らしき人が出てきて対応。トラッキング機能（相手が受け取ったか否かが分かる）場合，￡14。ばからしいが仕方がない。思えば，Royal mailという不審なメールが届いたのが事の発端だった。日本だと佐川やヤマト運輸がよく分からないショートメールで送りつけるのだが，手口がかなり巧妙になっている（のと，外国にいるので勝手が分からない）。
DAY176 [渡英155日] 2020年9月23日（水）Green marketでHotdog購入
午前中の勉強が終わり，Greenmarketの屋台でホットドックを購入。ベーコンが練り込まれたものと，チーズが練り込まれた2種類を購入したがかなりしょっぱい。帰宅後は，質問票調査を妻と相談。カーナビが届いたので初期設定を行う。音声は，kiyoshi という日本語音声ができそうだが，やはり通常の入力はすべて英語。音声が日本語対応しているのなら言語も日本語対応していないか淡い期待をしたが残念。
質問票を作成し始めるが，英語の論文で使用されていた内容を日本語にして使う場合，どこまで意訳するかがとても難しい。ある日本人研究者の本を見るが翻訳がひどく使い物にならない。受験の翻訳ならともかく実務家，人事管理をしている人間からすると業務内容を理解できていないと思わざるを得ない。恐らくグーグル翻訳を使って訳したものをそれとなく意味が通るようにしているのだろうが酷い。
After finishing the study in the morning, I bought two hotdogs in the Green Market, one is with bacon, the other with cheese inside sausages, but it's quite salty. Because car navigation has arrived, I set it up. As to the voice, a Japanese voice called "Kiyoshi" can be made, but the guidance is in English. If the navigator supports Japanese, it would be better the characters are in Japanese.
After coming back, I made a questionnaire with my wife. But when we used the items in English, what extent should we translate into Japanese? It is challenging to change the sentences.
I saw the items which some Japanese scholar translated were terrible to use. Though it is ok to pass the entrance exam at a University, from the view of practitioners and academicians, he didn't understand the HRM. Maybe he used Google translation and fixed them slightly. It is terrible.
DAY175 [渡英154日] 2020年9月22日（火）white rabbit 日本酒
今日も息子が門の手前で泣いてしまう。小学校に行くしかないことをして泣きながらも消毒をする姿が可哀そうで心が痛む。午前中の勉強が終了後，靴を買いに来た妻と合流し，White Rabbit(https://www.whiterabbitpizza.co.uk/)というお店でランチ。イタリアンのお店でピザとサラダ（とビール）をオーダー。外国ではピザのサイズがよくわからないので１枚だけにしたが，これくらいの大きさなら1枚食べられそう。
妻が自転車で先に自宅に帰ったため，私はGreen Marketの側にある中華食材のお店とアイスクリーム屋さんの側にある食料雑貨店でワインを購入し帰宅。今日はお店を3つ開拓したことになる。
自宅で息子とLEGOを作ったあと，自宅でフランスで作られている日本酒，WAKAZEを飲む。かなり甘めでデザートワインのような味わい。半年ぶりくらいの日本酒なのでさらに甘く感じるのかもしれない。
My son cried in front of the gate today as well. It is pitiful and heartbreaking to see him washing his hands while crying because he understands that there is no choice but to go to primary school. After studying in the morning, I met my wife, who came to buy shoes and had lunch at a shop called The White Rabbit. I ordered pizza and salad (and beer) at an Italian restaurant. I don't know the size of pizza in foreign countries, so I chose only one, but if it's about this size, I can eat one.
After making LEGO with my son at home, I drink WAKAZE, a sake made in France at home. It is quite sweet and tastes like a dessert wine. It's been about half a year since I have not drunk the Japanese sake, so that it may feel sweet.
DAY174 [渡英153日] 2020年9月21日（月）roundabout失敗。高速へ…。
嫌がる息子を学校に送り出し，午前中の勉強が終わってから，午後からNorth Oxfordにある公園の駐車場に妻が運転して向かう。しかし，英国特有のroundaboutに失敗し，コッズウェルの方に向かってしまう。何とか途中の高速道路のパーキングで反転して元に戻るが，ナビがないとしんどいなぁ。
夕方お向かいのお母さんがport meadowの散歩に誘うが，ちょっと疲れた。英国の6人ルールを逸脱しているけど大丈夫？原稿と妻との調査設計で時間が終了。
In the morning, I send my son, who disliked going to primary school. After finishing the study in the morning, I rode in the car, driving to a park in North Oxford. But she failed to roundabout peculiar to Britain and headed toward Cotswolds. She managed to return to Oxford on the highway on the parking, but it hard without car navigation.
In the evening, the mother of a neighbor ask my son out for a walk in Port Meadow, but I was a little tired. It deviates from the UK 6-person rule, is that okay? Time was over to making the research design with my wife and writing an article.
DAY173 [渡英152日] 2020年9月20日（日）summer townへの買い物。zoomでの食事会
11時からzoomを使って日本の家族と食事会を行うため summer townに買い物に行く。summer townはちょうど日曜日ということもあり，小さなマーケットが展開されており，マーケットではパイ，M&Sでその他の食料品を購入して帰宅。11時からzoom（日本時間19時）で食事会。息子は嬉しそうなのだが，一方で恥ずかしいのかあまり話さない。それにしても落ち着きがない。
13時頃にzoom食事会がお開きになると今度は夕方にお向かいの子供の一人が自宅をノックして共有地で遊ぶことになる。1時間ほどで切り上げて家の庭でピクニックもどきの夕食。 Amazing Spiderman2を観始めるが，片付けなどできちんと観られず。息子が微熱と鼻水の症状あり。昨日遊んだ子供も，お向かいの子供も鼻水が出ていたし，それとも庭で食事をしたからだろうか？明日学校に行けるだろうか？
We went to shopping at Summer Town to have lunch with our family in Japan from 11 am using zoom. The Summer Town had a small market on Sunday, and we bought pies and other fish, and other food at M&S.
A lunch party began at 11 am (but in Japan at 7 pm). My son looked happy, but on the other hand, he embarrassed them to speak. Anyway, he was restless.
After finishing the lunch party around 1 pm, the neighbor came to our house and asked him out the commonplace. After we played for one hour, we went home and took a supper in our garden. We started watching Amazing Spiderman2, but I couldn't watch it because I tidy toys up and to clean up dishes. My son has a slight fever and a runny nose. Is it because the child who played yesterday and the child on the other side had a runny nose or ate in the garden? Can he go to school tomorrow?
DAY172 [渡英151日] 2020年9月19日（土）Oxford University Parkで日本人夫婦と待ち合わせ→The Anchorでランチ
今日は，ほぼ同じタイミングでOxfordにやってきた日本人夫婦とOxford University Parkで待ち合わせて散歩。息子も日本人の友達がいるととても嬉しそうで，駆け足やかくれんぼ，池のカモに餌をあげるなどをして過ごす。Parkが広いので，行き帰りの往復を含めるとそれだけで1万歩を超える。息子は往復は自転車とはいえ，それでも8000歩近く歩いていることだろう。
90分ほど遊んだ後，久しぶりにThe Anchorへ行ってランチ。残念ながら注文しようと思っていたシーザーサラダが売り切れで我々はFish and Chips，Hamburger，Eaton Messを注文。食事後は，たまたまテレビでやっていた美女と野獣（エマワトソン）を鑑賞し，就寝。
Today, we met a Japanese couple at Oxford University Park and took a walkabout for ninety minutes. They came to Oxford almost the same period with us. My son was happy to play with a boy. He spent his time running, hide and seek, and feeding ducks in the pond with a boy. Because there was an enormous park, I walked over 10,000 steps. Thought my son drove a bicycle, maybe he walked over 8,000 steps.
After playing in the park, we went to The Anchor to have lunch. Unfortunately, a Ceaser-salad sold out, so we ordered a fish and chips, a hamburger, and Eaton Mess. I didn't know whether the Sheff changed or not, but a taste changed, I felt.
Coming back home, we watched the beauty and the beast (Emma Watson version) on TV and went to bed.
