DAY275 [渡英251日] 2020年12月31日（木）：今年の棚卸（2020年1月～2020年12月）
2020年最後の日。今年は，査読論文1本，招待・紀要論文2本。投稿中論文2本，リジェクト1本。長めのコラム1本。レポート2本。まだまだ納得できるレベルではないなぁ。来年度は英語論文と本の出版を目指そう。ライフイベント的には，何と言ってもOxfordに来たことが大きい。英語は少しでも改善されているのだろうか。このブロブもほぼ読んでいる人はいないと思うが，記録の意味でも毎日続けられたと思う。
今日は，午前中にBabysitterに面倒を見てもらっている間に妻がおせち料理を作成し，私がコラムを作成する。夕方，お向かいのお家が外でケーキを食べることを誘ってくれて，お向かいのご家族と同じ年ごろの子供を持つ家族の3家族で外で会合。誘ってくれた家族の旦那さんがビールを勧めてくれた。その際，息子がいつも遊ぶ友達のちょっとしたちょっかいから別のお友達を庇う優しさに親バカながらちょっと感動した。
夜になると色々なところから花火が打ちあがり，午前0時になると花火が一層打ちあがることに加えて隣の家がtier4のルールを破り，複数の家族を招いて深夜まで大騒ぎをして眠れない。さすがに堪忍袋の緒が切れつつある。

As to the results written above, I couldn't convince the results. Next year, I will try to write English journals and publish a book. This year, coming to Oxford was the most impact event for me. However, I am not sure I could improve my English.
In the morning, while my babysitter cared for my son, my wife had prepared for cooking, and I had written the column.
In the evening, my house's neighbour had invited us to eat the cake outside ( because of COVID-19). Another family also joined the party; we had eaten the cake, and drunk beer, which one of the dads recommend.
At night, there were fireworks around here, and it got more fireworks around 0 am. The family living next to our house invited other people which was prohibited under the tier4, and had made so noisy until 1am. We have endured the noise, but its time to burst.
