DAY402 [渡英348日] 2021年5月7日（金）：原稿完成

　朝から推敲していた原稿が完成した。文字数にしたら大したことはないが，依頼の倍近くの文字量を書いてしまい，半減させるのにえらい時間がかかった。明日，落ち着いて見直してから送ることにしよう。それにしても息子が学校に行っている間にだいぶ作業が進んだ。有難い。日本では保育施設もクラスターが発生しているというし，このままだと保育園が閉鎖という可能性もあるだろう。それこそ経済が止まってしまう。

　I had finished my manuscript. Thinking of the number of characters, there was no problem. However, I wrote about twice as many characters I was asked to write, so it took much time to reduce the characters.

   Let's calm down and review it tomorrow before sending it. Even so, a lot of work went on while my son went to primary school. It is said that there are clusters of childcare facilities in Japan, and there is a possibility that the nursery schools will be closed at this rate. That will stop the economy.
