DAY281 [渡英257日] 2021年1月6日（水）：Childminder初日

　今日から息子がchildminderのところに行く。朝，支度をして道中，「新しい学校では何がしたい？」，「行くのが楽しみ？」など尋ねながら様子をうかがう。まんざらでもないようでむしろ遅刻しないかを気にしていた。無事引き渡すことが出来て午前中は仕事が出来そう。午前中は英語論文の査読をだいたい終了してあとは清書をすれば完成。事務連絡をいくつかして終了。

　妻が13:00に息子を迎えにいくために急いで食事を摂り，帰宅後は小学校からの宿題をする。ある意味ダブルスクールなので息子にはきついかもしれないが，最近勉強に興味を持ち始めているのでこのまま軌道に載せたい。が，（英語の）「文章を読んで」と言われるものの，私は発音に自信もないし，一部の単語に至っては知らない単語すらある。当たり前だけど，英語圏の子供は，幼いうちから色々な単語を勉強しているなぁと感心してしまった。夕方お向かいの子供と家の前で遊びつつ，私は学校に今日の勉強の報告。今週は引き算と文章を書くというもの。

子供の雑誌の載っていたショートストーリーの記事にある一文。

"He scooped the rubble out of the hole."　rubble って不可算名詞で瓦礫なのね。

パウ・パトロールのラブルって瓦礫なの？？

　Today, my son went to the childminder. On the way, I asked him, "What do you want to do at the house?", "Are you looking forward to going there?", and so on. He expected to go there and cared for not being late for the time.
　In the morning, I had finished writing a referee sheet of an English journal and will rewrite some of them tomorrow.

　Since my wife will pick my son up at 13:00, we had a light meal. After going home, my son did homework. In some sense, it was double school, so maybe it was hard for him. However, because my son is interested in studying, we hope he keeps the pace.
Sometimes, my son asked me to read an English book, but I don't have confidence in pronunciation and don't know some words. Take it for granted, the people speaking English, know so many words from the infant. During my son playing outside with my neighbour's kid, I reported the daily activity to primary school. The main topics of this week are writing sentences and subtraction.

P.S.
"He scooped the rubble out of the hole". the word "rubble" is an uncountable noun. Is the same name of Rubble in Paw Patrol?
