DAY268 [渡英245日] 2020年12月24日（木）：Christmas eve，第52回日立財団倉田奨励金
今日はクリスマスイブでケーキは午前中に配達をしているので待機する。ケーキは予定通りに届いたものの，花がCOVID-19の関係で届かないという。うーん，本当にCOVID-19の影響だろうか…。むしろBREXITなら理解できるが…。
また，この日は，第52回日立財団倉田奨励金受賞決定の連絡を受ける。これで来年度はさらなる研究ができる。基盤研究（B)の交付も始まるし，企業調査や個人調査ができそうだ。この資金を元手に3時点の個人調査を実施予定。でも大学に資金を預ける時点で管理料として10％徴収されてしまうので，どのように使用するか思案のしどころ。
近くの公園に少しだけ散歩するが，さすがに寒い（最低気温-2℃）のため早々に退散して，自宅でマコーレ・カルキンの『ホームアローン』を家族で鑑賞。あり得ない設定（慌ててパリ行きの飛行機に飛び乗った結果，子供を家に一人置き忘れてしまう）ながら，主人公は，その間，逞しく生活しながら空き巣を追い払うというもの。息子はゲラゲラ笑っていたのでそれなりに楽しんだようだ。
Today, it was Christmas eve, so I waited for the Christmas cake being delivered to my house. Though the cake delivered on time, a flower didn't arrive by the time I had ordered, because of the COVID-19. I wondered it was not because of COVID-19, but BREXIT.
Also, I received the email from the Kurata Grants from The Hitachi Global Foundation to receive the scholarship. I will do more advanced research because I will use both Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B) and Kurata Grants. I will plan to do the 3 wave research for individuals using Kurata Grants. Though we have to deposit the Grants to the university, we cut 10% off from the Grants' amount as the management fee, so it will be important how to design the research.
We went to the nearest park in the afternoon, but it was so cold that we went back soon. After going back home, we watched "Home alone", which was an incredible situation; the parents had forgotten to pick their son up for the travel to Paris. During their absence, the boy lived and enjoyed, and finally, he kicks out the robbers. My son had laughed watching the movie.
