DAY218 [渡英195日] 2020年11月4日（水）霜が降りる朝，ロックダウン前日のレストラン
朝から冷え込み，冬の到来を感じる。朝7時台であたりは霧に包まれ，車にも霜が降りる寒さ。明日は-1℃になるらしい。息子を送り出した後，午前中は仕事。
明日からsecond lockdownになるため，the Anchorへランチに行く。店員と話をしていると一応，takeawayは引き続き行われるものの，今日のメニューは明日からの閉店に備えて欠品が多く，頼める品数も限定的。それにしてもシェフが変わったのか，ケバブがラインナップされ，好きだったチキン乗せシーザーサラダがなくなった。午後の時間は息子が帰るまでに原稿の校正を終える。院生の論文のチェックもしないと。
Waitroseの品物を受け取り，一日が終わる。ロックダウン中でwaitoroseのスロットが普段のように取れるかが若干心配なところ。でも車があるので最悪買いに行くこともできる。
It was chilly in the morning. I felt that winter has come. At around seven, it was foggy, and my car was frosty. A weather forecast said that it would be -1° tomorrow.
After I send my son out to the primary school, I worked during a.m. Thinking of the second lockdown from tomorrow, my wife and I went to the Anchor to have lunch. Asking with a clerk about the takeaway, they will keep takeaway. But, to prepare for the lockdown from tomorrow, so many menus were out of stock. I wonder if a chef changed, the kebabs added as a new menu; instead Ceaser salad with chicken which I loved it was gone. In the afternoon, I checked the manuscript until my son went home. I have to check my doctoral student's manuscript.
