DAY207 [渡英185日] 2020年10月24日（土）Oxford University Museum of National Histry(OUMNH)，Browns, Branca，お向かいの子たちと遊ぶ

　今日は待望のオックスフォード大学自然史博物館に11:45に予約して訪問。昼ご飯の時間帯を挟むことから，早めの昼食をとるために道中にあるBrownsで軽食。やってきた食事を食してwebとの評判と合致していると納得，残念な感じ。予想以上に料理がやってくるのが遅かったため，余裕を見たつもりでも到着は，予約時間より1分遅れ。ともあれドードー（Dodo)のはく製や恐竜の化石の他，美術館内に併設されているPitt Rivers Museum も世界中の文化が凝縮されており興味深い。日本だと能面やのし袋などが展示されていた。しかも無料なのが嬉しい。美術館内では息子の小学校の友人家族と出会って簡単な立ち話。

　1時間ほどで鑑賞し終えた後，Brancaで軽食。ここもまた料理が届くのが遅れてしまい，完全に食事のペースが崩れてしまった。帰宅後に息子とレゴをしているとお向かいの子供たちが遊びに来て1時間ほど遊んで，その後お向かいのお家でも遊ぶ。お向かいのお家では別の女の子も遊びに来ており，息子はお向かいの男の子と遊び，女の子の友達は男の子の妹と遊んでいたようだ。

　We went to the Oxford University Museum of National Historical (OUMNH) where we were longly waiting for at 11:45.

　Since the booking time was lunchtime, we took early lunch at Browns, on the way to the museum. Seeing the dishes, I understood the rating of the restaurant on the web site. It took time to serve dishes. We arrived at the museum after 1 minute of booking time. Inside the museum, there was taxidermy of dodos and fossil dinosaurs. Besides, Pitt Rivers Museum, which is located inside the museum, showed so many cultural collections all over the world. Moreover, it is free!
　In the museum, we met my son's elementary school friend and family and had a small talk.
　After watching in about an hour, we had a light meal at Branca. Again, it took time to serve dishes and the timing of taking food completely disrupted. When my son played LEGO, the neighbour's son visited him to a playdate for one hour and changed the place to the house of a neighbour.
